I am a Registered Holistic Nutritionist.
What does that even mean?

It means that I believe that everyone has unique nutritional needs within their own body. I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to nutrition. It also means that I work from a “holistic perspective,” which means I consider the whole person and how the body, mind, and spirit interact. I take into account your busy life shoved full of work, time-crunches, kids, activities, and modern stresses. Starting from the point of your health goals or your feelings of imbalance, I work with you on your level, within your body, your life, at your pace to help guide you to your optimal nutritional health. My focus is you, as you are, in your entirety.

Think of me as your ultimate wing-(wo)man. I’m going to play to your strengths and help dissipate your weaknesses. I am here for you.

 
 

My Manifesto, My passion, My goal:

I want to show you a new way of looking at food. I want to help you create a new relationship with what you eat and why. I don’t want to contribute to the cyclical diet culture of our society. I want that cycle to end with you. I want healthy eating, however that may look to you, to be second nature. I want to bring a new view to your understanding of nutrition.

Eating isn’t just about calories in and calories out. If it was, there wouldn’t be so much conflicting information about it and, to be frank, I wouldn’t have a job. Food is complicated— it’s mixed up with emotions, celebrations, rituals, coping mechanisms, memories. There’s no one right way to look at food, but I want to show you a new view of it. One that isn’t full of restrictions, guilt, and taboos. There’s a place for every type of food. They each serve a purpose at some point or other. However, maybe the foods you are eating just aren’t serving you right now.

Wouldn’t it be amazing to free yourself of rigid rules and structure and instead listen to your body and tune in to what it’s trying to tell you?

That’s my vision.

That’s the life I want to help you build: the one where eating healthily doesn't require thought or effort.
